Whats Involved in being on the Committee?
Future Foresters (NZ) have opened up our annual applications for Leadership Team positions! The Leadership team includes three Executive Committee positions open (2 year term) as well as new Regional Leaders throughout the country (1 year term with ability to reapply).

What is the role of a Regional Leader?
The role of a Regional Leader involves growing and maintaining a regional network of other foresters. Your role will involve organising events, getting involved with industry groups by representing Future Foresters, and helping with other Future Foresters projects.

What is the role of an Executive Committee position?
Executive Committee positions involve the overall running of Future Foresters nationally with the two other executive committee members. Your role will involve managing finances, managing projects, writing funding applications, developing our strategy, coordinating national events, and engaging with industry at a national level as a Future Forester.

What is the time commitment?
These roles are voluntary. The time commitment involves a monthly one hour online team meeting, one in-person planning meetings, and time spent on event planning, or project involvement, etc.
